Fog City Access & Tower Transit: Unlike Paratransit, these services work like Uber and Lyft but are specifically designed for those with mobility accessibility needs. The benefit is that those using them can be picked up from their homes directly. And, these services aren't conditional on someone being eligible for Paratransit.

Fog City Access is an app for on-demand accessible transportation within San Francisco for riders in wheelchairs and with mobility needs.

Tower Transit The Tower Transit app offers you reliable wheelchair
transportation services with the San Francisco area.

​​For seniors and dykes with mobility disabilities who are unable to access public transportation, San Francisco Paratransit provides van and taxi service everywhere in San Francisco. Riders must be ADA certified to ride Paratransit.

Rides are currently $2.85 one way and can be scheduled by visiting sfaccess.sfmta.com or by calling the Paratransit Reservations office at 415-285-6945. SF Access customers must make a reservation from one to seven days before the day of the trip. Reservations are accepted seven days a week, between 7 am and 6 pm. If you are not certified to ride Paratransit but feel that you need this service, you can find Paratransit applications in your language by visiting sfmta paratransit.
